Two days of shopping.
Mood:
Damn, that rocked. I've never shopped for so long. Friday and Saturday... didn't buy as much as 2 days of shopping would imply, but what can I say, I'm a picky bitch.
I'm just going to update quickly because it's beautiful outside and I might go grab something to eat and sit out there for a while, but here's what happened. On Friday Red and I went to the mall and I ended up buying these beautiful white cargo-like pants that tie up at the bottom to form sort of "cut-offs", with this droopy string and bunched up fabric. On one side there's a pocket and on the back there's this criss-cross tied together pattern. They are so damn unique I couldn't get enough of them! (I love funky pants). Not to mention low cut. We also stopped by Le Chateau to check out the dress Dea and I found online but they didn't have it (I asked and the girl said they sold out in a day or so), so instead I picked up this baby pink mandarin style shirt. All stretchy and satin like with bamboo and cherry blossoms. So pretty. It was supposed to go with the white pants. I tried on a bunch of other dresses but didn't like any of them.
Then we sort of walked around, I picked up a few things at Fruits & Passion and another bikini at La Vie en Rose. It's all pure 100% denim, sort of frayed at the edges. I was a bit reluctant at first but Red made me buy it and now I'm really glad I did.
On Saturday we ended up doing to Guildford (I love that mall) and I felt a little disappointed because I still couldn't find any sexy shoes, and MAC was all out of eyelash curlers and clear mascara (I have some painful luck here...). Anyway, but we walked around and stopped by their Le Chateau and what do you know, lo and behold there's the dress I was looking for, and they had my size! So I ended up getting these beautiful black (low-cut) satin pants. Again, cargo-style with the ties at the bottom, ssooo luxurious. I also picked up the dress (duh, it fit insanely well, it's amazing), and a shirt that basically looks exactly like the dress (with the ties at the waist and all) but it's the shirt without the bottom part. It went so well with the pants I couldn't resist, lol.
Still no sexy shoes though. I did end up getting a new pair of Skechers. These sort of chunky, flip-flop style ones. They are so comfy and cute looking. I really like them. And they're classy enough that you can pretty much get away with wearing them with anything sporty or anything white that's a bit less casual. I think I must have tried on like 50 pairs of shoes though! I bought Red's mom a gift, a pair of these red runners that I have that I knew she also wanted.
I know I'm picky when it comes to shoes and pants but what you gonna do. So I still need some nice capris (non-cargo), hopefully some nice classy fabric, and a pair of light colored, thin jeans. PREFERABLY wide band, but low cut, those are so sexy and flattering. I also love little tiny back pockets so that would be a nice touch.
After the shopping thing we went to Leekia's party at The Keg. That was all right. Then we decided to skip the movie so I could give Red's mom her gift so we headed home and we did that. She was really happy. And that's about the extent of what happened.
