Death Cab for Cutie
Mood: The current mood of unchained_forum@hotmail.com at www.imood.com

Well that was awesome. I'm so glad I went with Tina. I should do crap like this on a whim more often, hehehe. I knew I should trust her because Tina's not an insane, crazed person who'd take me somewhere insane and crazed. We had a blast at the show though. Sat around, yelled a lot over the music and talked for the longest time until the feature bands came on. By the time Death Cab came on though I was so out of it and tired I was almost tripping, plus neither one of us could feel our asses I'm sure, hehehe.

I put on some extra special makeup because well, why not, we were going to a bar/club, that entails actually wearing extra makeup. The show got moved from the Vogue Theater to Richards on Richards so nobody under 19 could get in, so we quickly realised there were absolutely no cute ppl to check out either. Everyone was either old or taken, or both.

Tina came to pick me up at 5:30 and then we hung out Downtown walking around, searching for Quizon's so Tina could eat. In the end we ended up at this Pita place and I decided to order something because I realised the show wouldn't end until way late and I didn't eat since 4. So we ordered our stuff and then we kept on talking about this one dude that worked there. He looked sssoooo much like Kam it was making me feel weird. He had a more of a "grunge emo" look to him though and he died his hair black, even though I could see his roots and his natural color was exactly like Kam's. I told Tina and at first she didn't believe me but then she looked closer and she actually agreed with me, it was creepy. He was so damn cute though I think he knew we were checking him out because when we left he was smiling and everything at me when I looked back, hehehe.

Then we slowly made our way down to R on R and walked in. As we were going in Tina went first and I was holding a bottle of water and one of the bouncers was like, "Oh you're not allowed to bring in bevs", I was feeling pretty confident that day so I looked right at him smiled and said, "Ok, here you want it?" I was giving him the bottle, he smiled and he was like, "Ok you can bring it in." I was so seriously just going to leave it, I didn't care. I could have easily bought something inside, hehehe. Tina thought that was funny. I think I'm going to start using mascara...

After the show Tina dropped me off at home. I was seriously crashing all over the place, she said I looked stoned. The music was awesome though. They weren't tuned right though so you couldn't really hear the lyrics, but it was still awesome. Oh and plus I didn't disappoint Tina with the pink, I wore pink undies, hehehe. So I guess that's that, I'm no longer a "show virgin". I think Tina felt proud because she went with me for the first time so she has the honour to say, "Yup, I took her for the first time damn it! I rule."

Ok, I better go, my headache's getting worse... damn. Before I leave though, there is one thing I wanted to post from Stacy's journal. I cried when I read this story *sniffles*. And then I'm almost caught up with my stuff, so in the evening I'll be catching up with all of my e-mails, yey :)

The Pink Dress

There was this little girl sitting by herself in the park. Everyone passed by her and never stopped to see why she looked so sad.

Dressed in a worn pink dress, barefoot and dirty, the girl just sat and watched the people go by. She never tried to speak. She never said a word. Many people passed by her, but no one would stop.

The next day I decided to go back to the park in curiosity to see if the little girl would still be there. Yes, she was there, right in the very spot where she was yesterday, and still with the same sad look in her eyes. Today I was to make my own move and walk over to the little girl. For as we all know, a park full of strange people is not a place for young children to play alone.

As I got closer I could see the back of the little girl's dress. It was grotesquely shaped. I figured that was the reason people just passed by and made no effort to speak to her. Deformities are a low blow to our society and, heaven forbid if you make a step toward assisting someone who is different.

As I got closer, the little girl lowered her eyes slightly to avoid my intent stare. As I approached her, I could see the shape of her back more clearly. She was grotesquely shaped in a humped over form. I smiled to let her know it was OK; I was there to help, to talk. I sat down beside her and opened with a simple, "Hello".

The little girl acted shocked, and stammered a "Hi" after a long stare into my eyes. I smiled and she shyly smiled back. We talked until darkness fell and the park was completely empty. I asked the girl why she was so sad. The little girl looked at me with a sad face said, "Because, I'm different", I immediately said, "That you are!" and smiled. The little girl acted even sadder and said, "I know".

"Little girl", I said, "you remind me of an angel, sweet and innocent".

She looked at me and smiled, then slowly she got to her feet and said, "Really?".

"Yes, you're like a little Guardian Angel sent to watch over all people walking by". She nodded her head yes, and smiled. With that she opened the back of her pink dress and allowed her wings to spread, then she said "I am. I'm your Guardian Angel," with a twinkle in her eye. I was speechless -- sure I was seeing things.

She said, "For once you thought of someone other than yourself. My job here is done". I got to my feet and said, "Wait, why did no one stop to help an angel?". She looked at me, smiled, and said, "You're the only one that could see me," and then she was gone. And with that, my life was changed dramatically. So, when you think you're all you have, remember, your angel is always watching over you.

6:06 p.m. - Clarify.

Oh yes, let me clarify a few things: I don't drink (except juice, milk and water), I also don't smoke and have never and will not, do any drugs. I get a natural high, and of course being tired helps ;)
