Yup, I'm relaxing all right.
Mood:
Dea's so funny. Yesterday I told her I didn't know what to do (if I should go to the mall or not) and she told me to wait until Monday and to just stay at home, relax, go outside, sit in the sun, do nothing, so of course I end up working the entire day. Of course that means extra money but it was funny though. In a little bit I have to go do the stair run, then do walk then some lower body weights, that should be fun. Tomorrow I'm taking the day off basically. I have to go to WR and get my hair done, then I'll just drive down to the beach and hang out there, that reminds me, I should bring my scrapbook. I know where to go now to get away from all the people though, the only shitty thing is I have to pay for parking. I wish I had that sticker, arg.
Yesterday's workouts:
Abs (20 min) 24Up (36 lbs), 48Low (36 lbs), 24R, 24L
Walk (60 min)
Upper body weights (15 minutes) (with 10 lbs)
Carrie-Ann Moss is ssooooo hot! She's also inspirational so I ended up watching The Matrix 2 times yesterday and just drooled all over the screen. I also forgot I had an Esquire mag of her in it looking all sexy so I found it when I went to work on my scrapbook and... damn. I think it's her whole attitude, or at least the whole Trinity character. She's very much "calmly fascinating", "quiet love", "observant soulmate", that kind of thing. If you watch the movie as many times as I did you pick up on the way she acts around Neo. That's one thing I really loved about her. She's "known" this guy for years. Studied him, watched him, she was already in love with him well before they met face to face and yet she is able to be professional and calm, giving him time to adjust to a new life. Giving him space, meanwhile you can SEE she WANTS to tell him she loves him but she doesn't do it because she knows it's not the right time. And then finally she tells him... damn. (In case you're wondering, she has a chance to tell him in the car when he asks about if she went to see the Oracle and she said yes, and she also has a chance to tell him near the end of the movie when she's on the phone but she hesitates and then all hell breaks loose).
And then in the second movie her character is explored further and you see her calm collective self walking about. She's the ultimate woman, but she needs to be professional and keep her feelings in check, and then there's the way she talks, I mean... damn. She did the voices in Animatrix, you can't forget that voice *sigh*. Ok I'm going to shut up, lol.
Oh yeah, I also narrowed my car search down to 3 cars, the BMW Roadster (the cheaper one... the other one looks dumb), the Audi Roadster (damn hot car), and of course the Beetle Convertible. If I move to WR I'll need to buy a car so better start looking and researching. I have at least 1 year. From an affordibility POV I'd get either the Audi or the Beetle but the shitty thing is, the Audi is a 2 seater (go figure... roadster). So it comes down to the Beetle by default. It's also 20 grant cheeper but that's not really an issue. I told Red I'd need to test drive to see how I feel, plus who knows where my life will be in a year or 2. Maybe I won't need a 4 seater anyway so who gives a damn.
5:33 p.m. - Cars
Yeah baby! And here are the cars, in order of cheapest to "I'll be damned if I can ever afford that". Oh yeah Patsy hun, ok I use Red's ftp thingy to store images, and I can make you up a design or at least show you how :) You have a MAC! They were MADE for graphics dude, hehehe. You're so cute.
Note: I only posted all grays because they're the easiest to see details.
10:02 p.m. - Beautiful day.
What a hot hot day. Damn, more work tomorrow, work I can't do because I won't be around, oh well, too bad. I went and read some of Tina's journal, she's so sweet to me *huggles*. You're a wonderful person Tina, I know sometimes you forget, and other times people will tell you otherwise, but you ARE.
Dea announced her engagement & wedding, she said around September the 21st which means she better start planning! Hehehe, Red and I are supposed to be the photographers, we can be sure HE'LL do a damn good job, I guess I can use my cam, at least I know how to work that one. For some reason he has better luck with his dad's cam. That's exciting though. I've never been invited to a close friend's wedding so of course I'm juping up and down. So a BIG BIG CONGRATULATIONS DEA! And tons of luck and I'll try to help out as best as I can, it'll be fun. She doesn't want it to be a big deal though, just some close people and a little ceremony.
I'm tired *sigh*... what a weird day. It was supposed to rain and instead it was sweltering hot and tomorrow is supposed to be some record of sweltering hotness, great. I need air conditioning. I wish I could afford a new car. Wish this job had guarnateed hours, or wish I wasn't such a lazy ass. Well, at least I get to stay over at Red's Friday to Saturday (Friday evening anyway). We're going to the states to celebrate his grandma's birthday. And tomorrow? I suppose bring my scrapbook and a book and read down at the beach.
