Mmmmm..... everything else.
Mood:
I'm ssooo relaxed and lazy today. Damn, thank gd it'll be a lazy day (hopefully). I plan to spend most of it at the beach and swim if it's warm out there. It's pretty hot but there might be a wind and everything so could be terrible swimming weather. I'll bring my beach bag though and some sandal type shoes I don't mind messing around in this time. Uhhh, I should do that now then before I forget (I have these old beat up shoes I LOVE though *sigh*, old shoes... so nice).
On Friday though I finished the loan and sent everything off yesterday. I didn't plan on getting it done so damn fast but I sat down (it was an online application) and then started filling crap out and seriously before I knew it I was DONE. Then printed off this final "consent" form, signed it, and off it went. I was quite impressed with myself. Then yesterday I gave Red the laptop and I JUST found the CD-ROM from my old laptop so I'm giving Red this one today as well (need to grab the bag for it). He wants to see if he can fix it up so it runs faster and install a network card so he can use it for ICQ and typing.
A few things left though... I BADLY need to get some sort of sleeve for my laptop. I have no idea how I'll do that because it's obviously a strange size, and I can honestly say I haven't wanted Monday to come so badly before. Hopefully tomorrow we can get the cable and see if it works.
Yesterday was fun though. We walked, hung out at the beach. It was too cold to go swimming but nice enough to walk around. Then we went to the mall to drop off my pants (I finally get to wear my Mavi pants, if they don't mess it up *crosses fingers*). I can pick them up Tuesday/Wednesday just in time for the trip. Then we stopped off at Maripoza and I bought 2 velour suits for mom and me. I'm still looking for a crop bottom w/short sleeves but I LOVE these suits and this one is even nicer than my light pink one. I got a fuschia one for myself and a tan one for mom. She loved it. Then we drove around, had some time to kill so Red took me down to the WV dealer. We didn't even KNOW they had a huge ass lot in the back because all we ever saw was the front. We ended up talking to this really nice, laid back guy who wasn't trying to push anything on us. I swear I love VW, well VW and BMW's are by far my fave cars. I aim to only own either one or the other. Too bad we didn't get to test drive the new beetle though. The one we wanted was off the lot at the time.
I got to sit in it though. NICE car! And sssoooo deceptive. It's HUGE. It looks tiny but it's absolutely HUGE. We bought thought that if the roof wasn't powered (it turned out to be powered though) that you could stand up and just swing it open over your head. Fat chance! You wouldn't even reach half the car doing that. Even the trunk was ample enough. I think the only thing I didn't like was the gear shift and the long ass dash. On the standards it looked awesome, but the automatics looked a little "plasticky". Oh well, guess I still get a chance to drive it around for a while before I decide. It still felt nice sitting in that baby.
I better run get ready though. Damn hopefully I can swim some today. Then there's 2 more things we need to look into (Red and I), the 205 course and the other language class I'm planning to take instead of French (if it'll fit into my schedule - because I can't get a hold of that lady! *Arg*), and modelling. I want to see if I can get any callbacks and if it works out, do that instead of working from home. It'll probably pay a LOT more and be a LOT less hours. Plus it'll be fun! I finally fixed my teeth and am proud of them so damn, why not. Plus it's something I've been thinking of doing for years now.
