Nothing's working *sigh*.

I keep having one problem after another somehow. I'm not even sure I want to write about that though, I had to deal with it all day long so why beat a dead horse.

Through it all I forgot to mention that yesterday was great. I drove to Red's house to give him a break (he drove the entire trip) and we hung out. Went to Rogers and bought a TON of movies, which brought my collection up to an awesome 120 some odd movies. I think when I hit 200 I'm going to have to celebrate somehow.

I did finally end up getting The Animatrix though so that'll make me happy for a bit... until I start thinking about Daredevil *drools*. Oh and of course, The Matrix Reloaded.

I need to post some pix soon as well. Some are of yesterday's parade. That was fun. I got to see some cute ass pugs, all 6 of them, all girls, all owned by one woman. I must say I'm in awe. Now I once more want my two little puggies, but that will have to wait until I suppose Red and I move in together (if we end up getting back together that is), or if I finish school and have TIME for a dog.

The trip was amazing though. We didn't end up getting onto the ferry until 3 though. When I got to Red's house his brother had JUST woken up. I was so pissed off. He didn't even pack yet. The ferry ride was kind of boring, then we finally arrived and drove around for 5 hours looking for the place. Drove around Victoria, EVERYWHERE, until we finally ended up in Sooke, which is where our resort was.

We got there at around 8 pm, unpacked some, well Red and I went to choose a new room, we ended up staying in this insanely romantic one with a HUGE tub in the corner (that was pretty sweet). We dumped our bags on the bed, rushed around then came downstairs to meet up with his parents and then we all went down to the beach. Walked around for a bit until it got too cold and then we came back up the trail and headed out looking for food. Of course by now everything was closed so we finally ended up eating at this restaurant/bar on a golf course. The food kicked ASS though! They had a huge menu and we all ended up getting everything we wanted. Everyone was starving so we basically ended up with one table full of food. The only thing not eaten that night was a whole plate of breaded zuccini sticks, but that's because Red's brother ended up ordering a cheesecake on top of everything else!

We headed back at around 12, talked for a bit and went up to our rooms. Red and I didn't get to sleep until around 2, the wakeup call for morning tea and breakfast was at 8 am so of course I got 4 hours sleep total that night. I felt so horrible the next day. Aparently I found out I wasn't the only one. Breakfast was INCREDABLE though. Scones, mini-cinammon buns, a vegetarian quishe (sp?), a fruit cobbler, damn, you name it.

We ate a ton (thankfully my morning tea sickness had already passed. I ordered earl gray in the morning because I forgot it also has a ton of caffeene in it which of course makes me sick). After breakfast we headed up to our rooms to change, went down to the beach, then came back upstairs, talked some more, took some pix and headed out to Point No Point to look at their beach.

When we got there though Red and I got caught by this woman of a bitch we nicknamed, "The Sea Hag". She was such a bitch. Red's parents went ahead and we were trying to catch up with them but she stopped us and was all like, "Are you guys staying here at the resort? Do you know this is private property?" And so on and so forth. I was like, yeah... whatever... like everyone ELSE doesn't go in here you bitch. But I told Red we should go back to the car, so we did, and then his brother came back up looking for us so we told him what was up. Then Red's parents came up and told us to go down with them and I said no. I was feeling a little under-slept so I said if I encountered that woman again I'd probably tell her off so I'd rather not have to be mean that day.

So in the end we ended up driving again looking for more beaches. We drove all the way up to China Beach. That was a ton of fun too. Then it was time to go back into town looking for another place to eat. Once more we ended up driving around, getting lost and then finally finding a place we were all happy with (keeping in mind that Red's mom is vegan).

I had a blast. I knew Red was feeling bad though because of all the driving he had to do, so of course, the only reason I actually DID end up feeling bad was for HIM! I didn't want him driving so much. He kept saying, "What kind of a holiday is this if I'm basically doing what I do EVERY day of the week." I'm still not 100% sure how much fun he had. At one point I noticed he was feeling bad and asked what was up and he said he was sick and tired of having his brother around 24/7 because the point of going on a holiday is to get away from EVERYBODY, INCLUDING (and especially) his brother!

This time I slept wonderfully well. Red held me the entire time. I felt so at peace and amazing *sigh*. I woke up all happy and energized. The previous two nights we also ended up taking a bath together which was ssooooo romantic. Red lit candles and everything. I swear I need to get a bath in my future bedroom ;)

So the next day we once more had an amazing breakfast (I skipped the tea this time), then we headed back upstairs and packed, went down to the beach for the last time, finally dragged our stuff into the car, said our good-bye's and we were off towards Victoria for a final farewell.

We toured around Victoria for a bit then went to one of the malls where I picked up an "Elle" looking scarf and some clear mascara (finally). Red sort of walked behind me but again his brother joined us and he was looking despondent and I didn't know WHAT the hell was up so I kept asking but he didn't want to tell me. I got frustrated and then FINALLY on the ferry he told me that he didn't want to go shopping with his brother there chirping in his ear, he wanted to be alone with me. I just felt like I was dragging him along and he looked like he didn't want to be there, but I'm glad we cleared things up and I felt it was sweet that he wanted to be alone and talk.

Unfortunately, such as was the hole trip (not really that well planned), we ended up not getting onto the ferry until 10 pm. There was a 3 sailing wait the first time we went into the lineup so we bailed out and went to look at this cute little town we found along the way. Then we made reservations for the 10 pm one and got on without ANY problems and a discount. We obviously should have phoned in the morning to do that, but oh well. Because of that I ended up sleeping over at Red's house (this time I wouldn't have dreamt of having made him drive me home and then go back to his house) so I had one extra holiday day. We basically slept in until 10:30 (I still woke up at around 7:30 the first time, mmmmmmm... would have been nice to wake up to a breakfast ;).

So all in all the trip was wonderful, admittedly it would have been better without Red's brother there but oh well. I'll try to post some pix tomorrow maybe if I have time. Meanwhile I'm off to watch a movie with mom.

Hopefully I can solve some of my problems relatively soon and get together with friends *sigh*. I miss my friends. Tina messaged me today and we talked for a bit. She sent me her schedule so I have to e-mail her mine and see if we can get together before school starts. I still have to sent out that dreaded e-mail to work *arg*. We shall see... we shall see. There's still quite a few things on my list here and there. Do some budget stuff, buy whatever else I need (the wireless junk), and then I'm not even THINKING about the downstairs yet! Hehehe. And with that, I shall be off.
