It's funny, today Dea called me a hypocrate for no reason. The issue of finding an opposite sex role model for your child came up and at one point she said that if I believe that same sex couples need to find an alternative sex person for their child to look up to (learn from, associate with, etc.) I should go castrate all the people who shouldn't have kids(which didn't really fit the ARGUMENT) but whatever, then she added "Hypocracy", which again, made no sense. Hypocracy would be me castrating all those people and preaching my beliefs but doing the complete opposite myself.

She keeps saying how open minded and understanding she is but for the past few months I've read nothing but intolrerancy form her journal. It's quite depressing. All she writes about is how much she hates people and how stupid she thinks everyone is. Being sexually open minded doesn't make you wholly open minded, and as far as being open minded in anything other than her sexual orientation, Dea is most certainly NOT.

She wants acceptance, she wants understanding, she wants others to be open minded but yet she refuses to grant those same things to these people.

It's obviously great to stand up for what you believe in but (and I've said this before) if you SAY things others don't agree with, expect comments. So as much as one is entitled to (and has a right to) say ANYTHING in one's journal, whoever is reading it has just as much right to comment.

And of course Dea... you're right, the world doesn't revolve around me but neither does it revolved around you. You immerse yourself in an internet full of friends who would bow to you and be your "yes" men and leave nothing but positive and agreeable comments in your journal. But perhaps one day you'll realise two things: people aren't as stupid as you think, and even though you generalize EVERYTHING and refuse to use names, they can easily figure out what you're talking about because it's as obvious as the fact that water makes things wet, and hopefully one day you'll also realise that the people who tell you straight out that you're WRONG and that if you WANT to be a better person you need to CHANGE are the best friends you SHOULD be looking to, and not those cretins who give you nothing but compliments.

In the end, you will notice that your true friends don't feed you garbage. And if garbage is what you want to eat, don't expect to live a healthy life.
